Was just driving home from a friends during a snow storm...wasnt going more then 25-30mph when i lost traction and spun into a ditch..hitting some brush at the end. Not sure of the damage yet..i know for sure my front left corner is cracked open and my cleared headlight is smashed (just cleared them last night =( ) I have the worst luck =(. Wont be able to get the car pulled out until tomarrow... Its 2am and noone around here tows at night... the fact that I have a $1400 system in there makes me uneasy about leaving it but I have no choice atm. Just wanted to vent guys. aw man that sux so much A$$...and u cleard ur headlights the other nite too!! why dont u go get a famiy member or one of ur friends to take u up .... or down to ur car and get ur system? i'd feel more secure if i did that than leave it over night

I wouldnt ask anyone to drive in this over a system..still snowing bad outside. Were out in the woods in hickville...not much crime out here... just dont like leavin it there =( I hope this wont be a huge hit on my wallet ... the car doesnt even have 2000 miles on it yet

the front end is just damaged right? no one can get in w/o breaking in? and what idiot would actually break into a car when theres a blizzard.

yes everyone is ok... bit shook up but were ok... as for my car...as far as i know its only fender/headlamp damage...not sure how much more. Not sure the steps i need to take after an accident though... so far i havnt called anyone..im tryint o get ahold of my family but noones picking up. When should i call in the insuarance claim and should i report it to the authorities?

these firestones are the ones that dont explode at random times. they fixed that. remember, it is the driver that always causes the accident.

you should have probably called the police to make a report - your insurance company will ask if the police were called and when you say no they'll say why not (suspicious as there could have been drinking) although if it was a bad blizzard I'm sure they'll understand
