What DONT I see? Your upgraded intake manifold, ANY sort of nitrous porting what so ever, or your upgraded fuel rail. Again, these pictures failed to prove anything more then
A) You have had your engine apart, and
B) You have some cheap basic bolt ons.
I guess bottom line is that your pics proved you have everything in your sig BUT the important stuff.

I think this is the first time I agree with B16. Those pictures prove absolutely nothing except for the fact that you or your friends now know how to strip your engine down to the block.
But honestly, I dont care if you have all that crap done to your car or not.

Ok, you guys have to give the guy a little credit since he DID take the head of his car and that’s a lot more than most of you ever did to your car, but I think I missed something, how did you crack the wall? You gotta do some thing crazy to do that on a new engine. I just purchased a 95 JDM GSR with around 30k miles on it and my internals look way better than yours. Also, the timing doesn’t seem to be set to TDC which is the first thing you do when you take of the head if you want to keep the timing right later. The ports seem to be worked on I'm polishing my own now and it's a lot of work. I don't see anything special about the throttle body, if you want to save some power from power steering and AC don't buy pulleys just remove them. The crank pulley probably makes good power I looked in to that too but none of them are balanced so forget that. Anyway I don't see anything special in that car but there is nothing special to buy for the d17 I suggest going DOHC. Did you know TODA already makes valve springs and cams for the k20, JDM type r pistons and rods are available too all that in less than half the time than the d17 has been out. I think no matter what the guys with k20's will always be a step ahead.

well u will see me in mags soon and car shows i got a phone call from venom like two days ago and i am getting sponsered in the 04 season so i will mention black99vtec some where in the artical for ya so u will see someday and in about a month u will see my dyno charts with 450 to 500 hp and 1/4 's in the 11's and it will be a daily driver

lets see with the high compression pistons and stronger rods with it bored out to a 2.0 with a 10,000 rpm redling and a stand alone. with the wokr i have done to my head i should be pushing 250 hp. with out the nos and then the my block withh be bullet proof so i can throw a sick shot of nos on it and bump it up to 450 to 500 hp

First of all, if you have a high compression ratio you cant possibly spray 200 shot. I'm guessin if ur hoping for the 250hp, ur most likely gonna run 14:1 CR like KMS. And second, you cant bore ur motor to a 2.0 from a 1.7. Even if u tried their is not enough room. And last, you cant possibly get "450" to "500" hp on a SOHC civic. What about the crack in the block? there are articals in scc mag that tell u step by step on how to build a 500 hp car sohc its sitting right in front of me . theres proof that it is possible. the cover has teh 8 sec jun civic
Yeah maybe Jun did it but you wont, in case you didn't notice you are not Jun you do not have their knowledge and their money, if you did you wouldn't buy a 2001 Civic. Another thing a sohc d17 pushing 500hp will never in hell be a daily driver. Does it say anywhere in that article that the Jun Civic is a daily driver, probably not. You know at first I thought you were ignorant but now i think you are just plain stupid.
