Steve, yah your right about the white/beige. I wanted to paint everything but realized that by doing so I risk lots of chipping and i'll have to do lots of touch ups ect. Since theis is an everyday driver I decided to just stay with what I have and add to it. Unfortunatally the EX coupe was not available in grey interior, (which would have been my first choice).
As for the project All I did was take apart the entire interior including the front dash. The only thing left was the carpet. The panels were painted by my mechanic and I had the seats, headliner, visors ect. apholstered by a shop in the bay area.
The headliner and door panels I could have done myself though. Its just a few yards of material cut out to fit the dementions, and attached using an adhesive you could pick up from the hardware store. Not to big of a deal. But the seats I left up to a professional. He had to cut out individual peices of material and sew them to faom (cussion) first then sew all the peices together from there, peice by peice; It seems like alot of work.
