just thought I would post a pic of my engine bay, i never seen a painted strut bar like mine, i know the bay needs cleaning and my valve cover leaks a tad bit on the edges but hey it runs good and i make sure it always has the proper oil level. thanks

i got mine used on ebay about a year ago for 80 bucks, the neuspeed sticker was peeling off so i decided to paint it. you guys think i should buy a black neuspeed sticker for it, the way they come originally but in black?
im glad i didnt buy a no name knock-off that would have rubbed on the intake
i think the dc sports cs-2 strut bar looks bad *** too

neuspeed website has it for 59.95 for an rsx type s
being that a lot of suspension parts are interchangeable from the rsx to 7thgen, it might be worth looking into
i think i read somewhere that it should fit even tho its advertised for the rsx only

Unfortunately, the part number is a little off. The mounting bolts are probably positioned a little differently. The CS-2 DOES look cool, but I've been reading that the quality is inferior because it's not one solid piece.
BTW, get the sticker if you like putting stickers in your engine bay. YOU know it's a Neuspeed!

hey rally i noticed your bar didn't come with the caps for the strut mount bolts you mite wanna get some replacements or make your own if not water can get trapped in there and cause rusting. but your engine looks rust free so you must live in a dry environment in that case i wouldn't worry about it.

yea it came without them, i emailed neuspeed for some but they never got back to me. its pretty dry here so i dont think it should be a problem

I haven't had caps on mine since... 2005? Yeah, I think '05 is when I get mine. No issues yet, and although I'm back in vegas now (since feb '10), I lived in update NY during the winter and 4.5 years in the Seattle area since then.

I, too, emailed neuspeed about replacement caps, and they never got back to me about it.
