Time for an update

It's been many miles since I've posted on here. Drove to Cali and back, and Miami to Charlotte and back several times in the last 10 months. I'll let the pics do most of the talkin.

On the way to Cali, got a few speeding tickets along the way..

Here's a few shots of my clearance. I'm trying to go lower, but right now there's less than a 1/2 inch of clearance from exhaust to ground. The wheels I'm getting will reduce stock wheel diameter by about an inch. As you can see this poses a problem. I may have to replace mid pipe with 2.5" for extra clearance but I really don't want to. Any other suggestions from the slammed masters here?

Re: My '05 EM2 - Project Bass

Looks like an awesome build list

for the ICE
Why only 500/1 for two 12W3's?
You could probably find 1000/1's all day on craigslist for about 300~400. Especially around FL if you're there.
And get a set of Monster RCA's :P

I had at one point two JL 500/1 mono blocks but as soon as I put power to em they blew my 2 kickers comp 12's within a few minutes. I sold one of the mono blocks and kept one. I might sell the other one also and upgrade to the 1000/1 but before that I'm trying to get a 4 chan 300/4 to power the JLs inside the car. I kno I can prolly find them used but I'd like to just save up and buy everything new.

Re: My '05 EM2 - Project Bass

May take your advice on the RCA's but I haven't even had a working stereo long enough to hear a difference. My stereo will get some attention after I get my first set of wheels. Not legit without wheels!

Lol, Kicker's can't handle the awesomeness of JL
And I wouldn't buy a new 1000/1...
Those things are expensive. A used one is just as good, for less than half the price.
As for the speaker amp, grab a JX 360/4, they're cheap and sound great.

Lol you're prolly right man those Kickers didnt last 10 min! And I'd buy used if I could find one blemish free. I'm pretty particular about that which is why I always just buy new. JX's are def great amps for the price but I'm pretty set on the Slash series lol they already have v3 out I can't keep up! I might sell my old v1 500/1 and upgrade everything to Slash v3. My stereo def will get the same kind of attention the rest of the car has been getting just need a little time thats all haha. So a round of v3 stuff and monster RCA's check
