I jus recently got a 5 speed 97 civic lx that we bought kinda jus 4 drivin around. I wanna get at least sum attention on the road. My friend told me 2 make a custom intake system and maybe put an ex intake manifold. I'm kinda unsure wut 2 do. I'm not 2 financially inclined so I'm kinda lookin 4 smthin cheap.

ANY SUGJESTIONS?

attention meaning exterior looks? but friends mentions performance? hmm... not exactly sure what your looking towards. you should swap a b18c1 engine. dont worry bout looks. you will get plenty of attention with power.

well usually depends on wut kind of attention u want?...
do u just wanna b loud n annoying? or want to turn heads like whoa! lol
theres plenty of nice cheap intakes out there by plenty of companys but all its gonna do is make a sucking in noise
u sure he didnt say EXHAUST? well either way basic upgrades are Intake Heades Exhaust i guess its good to start with that look around the thread and see topics there should b some with polls or even just recomendation posts if u dont see anything helpfull to you come back n ask more

Huge STI wing, 19" Chrome wheels, hood scoop, roof scoop, underglow, straight pipes, and a skyline body kit. Oh, and lots of stickers, chicks love stickers! Worst part is I've actually seen this numerous times.

Yea sorry, I meant perfotmance attention. I wud do exhaust, but theb I wud have 2 listen 2 it ALL the time instead of witht the intake where its @ high rpm.
