Rep Power: 0 Carbon Fiber Hood Question
Ok, I just purchased a carbon fiber hood, FIber Images, and it says Oem fitment and hood pins not required...
First, should I do hood pins anyway?
If so what pins would you recomend?

Rep Power: 0 that is what I was thinking... any specific brands to get or to stay away from?
I got a hella deal... a local store got it shipped to them by accident.

I'd go with "SPECTRE" Delux Hood Lock Kit.

Rep Power: 394 The "Sparco" and "Momo" ones suck ***. Check out my DIY: DIY: Hood Pins *Updated*
Now, I've been up to 100mph without any hood pins with my Fiber Images CF hood and I didn't have a problem. I'de install them anyway though to feel safe when you do go above that speed.

Rep Power: 0 If I were you I would deff. get some hoodpins just to be on the safe side. Drive without them and watch the hood flex back and forth. That alone will make you want to get some. Or it atleast made me.
I love my sparco hood pins. They were easy to put on and they look great too. I'd say get the sparco ones.

Rep Power: 0 im gonna buy a carbon fiber hood, it already has the hood pins installed, but he lost the pins so i was wondering if id be able to buy a different set up like the spectre deluxe hood locking kit and put in in there instead, im thinking it shouldnt be too much of a deal since there are already holes in the hood and id just switch up the set up.
