Project Civic (Memory build) UPDATE 10/30/07

Well as a lot of you know i am building my civic in memory of my grandpa. I put the civic away on friday and i just went right to work. i worked all morning and i havent stopped. I am having a problem getting the CV-Axles out if anyone know let me know. i got the socket for it but they just keep spinning and i have no brakes in the car anymore.

Re: Project Civic (Memory build) 10/28/07

Put the transmission in reverse. You probably could also put wheels back on, put the car down, block them and try to crank them off.
OR.... get an impact gun.... 1000 lb-ft makes short work of those nuts (I'd do this)

Wow, you werent playing when you took that motor out, you disassembled the whole bay. I cant remember if I never knew, or if it must have slipped my mind- but what you going to be doing to the motor, aka parts and such.

Also, can you provide a link to that shiny blue bar of yours?

PS- The year reads 3007 in the thread title.
