Well as a lot of you know i am building my civic in memory of my grandpa. I put the civic away on friday and i just went right to work. i worked all morning and i havent stopped. I am having a problem getting the CV-Axles out if anyone know let me know. i got the socket for it but they just keep spinning and i have no brakes in the car anymore.

pulling motor swaping to 5 speed, welding all the holes shut under hood customizing the hood, other thing just dont remeber yet and turbo

Put the transmission in reverse. You probably could also put wheels back on, put the car down, block them and try to crank them off.
OR.... get an impact gun.... 1000 lb-ft makes short work of those nuts (I'd do this)

just take out the starter and stick a screwdriver in there while ur getin em out, its really easy, works on the crank pulley bolt too

Wow, you werent playing when you took that motor out, you disassembled the whole bay. I cant remember if I never knew, or if it must have slipped my mind- but what you going to be doing to the motor, aka parts and such.
Also, can you provide a link to that shiny blue bar of yours?

Wow, you werent playing when you took that motor out, you disassembled the whole bay. I cant remember if I never knew, or if it must have slipped my mind- but what you going to be doing to the motor, aka parts and such.

ya i disassembled the whole engine bay didnt want anything to get scratched. I am doing a turbo build. I am doing a custom turbo kit. weisco pistons. eagle rods, i have no head parts yet. I have buddies going to a school in ohio and there going to be doing my block and head. So i am hoping 450 hp and that blue shiny piece is the stock fram brace and i rewelded a soild bar on it and had it powdercoated candy apple blue i have a valve cover that i just sent to get done the same color that i will have up for sale
