Hey i have a 2003 honda civic lx sedan, 5 speed. and my clutch is squeaking, like when i push it down and release it. there a point when it squeaks. anyone have an idea what it is, do i need a new clutch or something?
the squeaking sounds like its coming from the engine bay not the pedal itself.

there is a tsb for it, if ur mechanically inclined u can do it urself, but its kinda complex, if u want it, pm me and ill email it to ya, btw, search button helps, and welcome to the site

usually its either your slave or master cylinder. If its the slave u can just clean it then lube it up. theirs a diy for that. the if its the master cylinder you have to replace the whole unit.

^^the DIY is on there too. i read alot of what it is, but how would it affect the clutch, i still dont know how worried i should be.
