Re: DIY Rice prevention
^^ A full D17, Kuz if you do, I've been looking for a head. Shoot me a PM
Speedfoos, looks good- like the shot where the sun makes it shine like its god, creative. What kind of header are you planning on putting on there, is that some euro specific stuff you got heading your way?

Very nice! I can't wait until my son is old enough to turn a wrench, instead of throw sockets! Nothing makes a DIY more fun than hunting for your 13mm socket in the grass, and putting all of the 50 sockets back into their little homes!

Yeah, I had painted the plastic bit silver a while ago, before I had the VC PC'd so I may change it yet, not sure. If you've got just the block and girdle, I'll buy it. I don't need the crank, rods, pistons, or anything else.
The turbo manifold I have is Dezod's V2, and everything I ordered is all US spec (Tial, Garrett, etc.) The only thing EDM that I am looking for is a set of tails. Coupes are rare over here so its hard to find parts.

Where were those pictures taken, looks very nice out there, like the English countryside, which I could live in a place as lovely, instead I'm stuck in hell.
By the way the engine looks great!
O and cute kid.

Hey, is that a crack in that old VC?
I can proudly say my 10 year-old daughter helped me drop and install a tranny into my EK. She turned the crank on the scissor jack.
Looks great, man. (Cute kid too.)

LOL - yes Carl, that's a crack in the old valve cover! In fact I just sold it to someone else for $5 so they can paint their crack-free VC!
Thanks Murdock, that is officially the English countryside. We live in an old farmhouse on 5 acres, great for the kid and the dog.
Bigmax, I'm not selling a block, not sure sure what you're talking about. I just bought one though.

That's so funny. We should've each etched our initials, date, and location on the inside of that cover as a record of its travel. Then 10,000 years from now when some archeologist digs up this cover, we'll be remembered.

What do you mean extreme? I could see if I drove around with my engine bay looking like this all the time. Now THIS is EXTREME!! (Sorry, only had diet in the kitchen).

Thanks. I've got a new head on the way that has the Spoon coil pack stickers on it. I'll see how they look when it shows up.
