I have a set of the non-power mirrors, I like the look personally. I picked up a set of the powered ones from a guy here and will paint them up to match when I get home. You can take them apart, just do a search for 'DIY M3 mirror' as someone has already done it. I save the DIY, but since its not mine (and I don't remember who's it is), I don't want to post it here.

TheMoogly ^^How much to get them painted? I have m3's and I really like them, but I want them painted
So I would guess to expect at least 150 to get mirrors and get them painted? idk i would check w/a shop first to be sure

Damn. I'm going to do it myself, so it will set me back the cost of some paint, clear coat and sandpaper. $200 sounds like a lot to me, but then again I'm a cheap bastard and like to do most stuff myself.

i have some carbon fiber ones and they look cool but they'll fade after a year or so, so it'd probably be best to paint them to match your car. the blue signals are cool. and mine may rattle a little, but not all the time, only when going upwards of 75mph. They rattle more from the subs in the trunk than anything else.

Yeah... I got them, and I hate them... The quality of the mirror itself sucks... Any windflow and the mirrors start shaking like crazy. On top of that the actual "glass" of the mirror hinders visibility substancially... If it wasn't for the fact that my paint is a bitch to match, I'd go back to stock on the mirrors. My recommendation... Don't get them...
