Post 01-03 FRONT conversion question

has anybody taken the front of an 04/05 civic and replaced the front of their 01-03 civics front? I like the front of the 04 better...i suppose it would only be headlights, bumper and quarter panels to convert it. Any thoughts? Waste of money? I absolutley hate the plate molding on my 02, and the 04's dont have that. also, the headlights are much more aggressive looking on the newer ones. anybody done this? worth doing?

Re: 01-03 FRONT conversion question

i shouldnt even answer this because its been covered before, but you need headlights, fenders, front bumper, hood, and radiator support from an 04-05. now search next time.

Re: 01-03 FRONT conversion question

I believe somebody on this forum is attempting to do that conversion too. Sounds cool, I like the newer look too, but I'm fine w/ my 01 front. I prefer the foglight in the 01-02 than the newer years. Dont really think there is anything hard to do, but might take some $$$ to complete it fully.

Good luck, I say go for it since you have a desire to do so.

Re: 01-03 FRONT conversion question

the hardest part is the radiator support. has to be cut and welded.

Re: 01-03 FRONT conversion question

ya if its a waste of money then i should just ..black out my headlights again...i used to have them blacked out but i hit a dear 2 years ago and they put in 2 different headlights and neither comes apart. i suppose i should just get a body kit for front back sides....any ideas on what that might cost to get painted at the dealer?
also....i did search, i just didnt word things right in the search
