There is something wrong with rims and no drop. You look like a fool. Why spend all that money on rims and tires, and look worse than you were before. If you're not going bother lowering your car, why put rims on it. If don't drop your car, you might as well stick to stock size rims, and stock size tires.
wheel gap = UGLY
There's no arguing that.
For the record, lowered cars look better period. Lowered cars with oem rims look better than cars with big rims without a drop.

well.. if he went 215/45, he wouldve needed a fender rolling. and thats not stuff to do improperly. so the205/50/17 bfg g-force kdw nt...thats where it at!

I have 215/45's on my stech lowered 2001 and it doesn't rub.
I had 205/40's before these, but wanted a little better ride. It is amazing how much a little sidewall will help the ride. I can hardly tell the difference between these and the oem 15" tire as far as ride goes.

i haven't been able to afford a drop, and I've had my rims and new tires since february of last year. Cooper Zeon ZPT 215/45/16. Mine actually doesn't look that bad. Not a 4x4, at least.

well I wanted to go with the 215/45 but i went with the cheaper 40s so the rims an tires only cost me 5 bills. as for the drop....i know i wana drop it more but right now its perfect for DD around here. plus the camera angles just emphasize the wheel gap. thanks for the positive feedback

i suggest looking at some tire size charts. a 215/45/16 is with in .1" of a stock tire size. so it doesnt look bad with a drop at all or with out for that matter. i run 215/45/16's on my integra with stech springs and agx shocks.
then on my vic i run 225/40/18's with out rubbing on eibackm prokits and agx's. i did shave the rear fender lip down but that was as simple as it gets with a rotary tool and grinding bit
