yea seriously i thought the fix would have gone through no problem, but the estimate on the fix went up to over 12k and they said they saw a crack on the tranny also you cant really see it that well in the photos, but the framework was bent pretty bad you can kinda tell from the pics by the headlights soooo i just said f**** it

i had a lady bump into my rear at a stop light. we had been stopped and she thought the light turned green before it did and she hit the gas not really paying attention. so she many have hit me doing like 5mph. there wasn't a scratch on the bumper, but on the side where the bumper snaps in, it had come out. it didn't look all that bad though. she said she'd pay out of pocket for it. i got her info though anyway. took it in for estimates and all 3 came back over over $2500. turns out there was frame damage underneath. after closer inspection, the frame was bent, the inside of the trunk was all buckled up, if you looked down the side panel, it was bowed out, the left rear door didn't line up, and the trunk wouldn't hardly close. so yeah, a "little bump" can turn out to be a huge nightmare. she wound up turning it over to her insurance and they paid for everything.

Yea rims would def. compliment the car, i want to get a set of gold Volk GT-U's but im pretty strapped on cash. my car is dropped on Tein CST coilovers, and sadly its a 2001 IS (all 01 models are e-shift automatics), but still really fun to drive when i put it to manual mode.

oo gonna go for the big V8 swap eh? not a very common swap in the IS community, theres only one person that i know of thats working on it right now, he even added a TRD supercharger. i personally prefer the 2jz-gte aristo swap just because i want the boost
