Wow, IS300s are really clean
Whether you go forced induction or not, you my friend have one of the best sounding straight 6s in the world. Close second to the Bimmers IMO
So how many miles? Stick? Auto?

right now its bone stock, i bought it from a guy who was turning 60, which is good, i know that the engine hasnt been abused much. yea all my friends are saying intake, header, exhaust, which ill get around to doing, right now im gonna focus on lowering the car, replacing the shocks and get a new brake kit

Unfortunately i already sold my rims to my gf's cousin
its a 2001
i had around 19k on my civic, but after i swapped out the cluster for a LX sedan i had 4k i guess insurance never found out which is why i got so much money from that car. the Rolla is actually an XRS much faster than my vic and the 3, but i duno about my new car , we'll have to find out

nice ride. IS's are a bitch on tires though. i know 2 people that had them and had to buy tires about every 18 months. even with proper alignment they eat tires. don't know what it is. i'd still buy one though

yea i know, still got the car for a pretty low price and it is a toyota engine afterall, it still sounds and runs great, no leaks what so ever as well.
my friend owns an IS300 as well and he recommended getting the alignment done every oil change just to be safe.
only down side is that this car eats up gas like crazy, makes me miss the 4 cyl more and more everytime i look at the gas meter, oh well still a freakin IS

i need to put you in touch with my buddy that has one. he's got his lowered and it took Lexus almost 8 hours to get the aignment right. he works for Hendrick Motorsports so he gets free service at Hendrick Lexus in Charlotte, NC. he was also talking about it's hard to mod the motor since the computer is so picky. something like unless you bought an aftermarket EMS, then you couldn't even change the I/H/E without hurting the performance. don't know though. i'm sure there's a forum for the IS just like this place that will have all those answers.
