Hey guys I finally got my car dropped! It's still settling, but the driver's side (both wheels) seem to sit a tad bit lower than the passanger side... but i think it should work itself out. Next, camber kit.
Before - When i first got it
NADABOH!!!
I know i know..damage on hood.. the owner of this shop that i go to says he ordered a carbon fiber hood for my car but when it was shipped it was slightly damaged (a couple scratches). He offered me 150 for it. Is that good? I could always paint it silver cause I never really considered going carbon fiber.. But anyways, hope you guys enjoyed! I'm really excited now that it's finally dropped. Now we'll see how long these shocks last..

Rep Power: 253 nice rims and drop... get the camber kit SOON... that's a reasonably low drop, and there will probably be decent camber wear on those tires.
bigger pix would be nice too

Rep Power: 311 I rode around for about 2 years on factory struts until it started getting really bad. I wish I would've just got new struts to begin with so I would'nt have to touch the suspension again.

Rep Power: 0 Thanks guys. There's also been a "popping" sound when i make left and right hand turns. Is that supposed to be there? I'll be getting that camber kit really soon. What about the deal on that carbon fiber hood? Never been used but scratches from shipping 150 bucks?

Rep Power: 253 It's probably just me, but I think carbon fiber hoods look funny on 04/05's... maybe it's because of the headlights. That is a good price for the hood tho, go for it if you want, but CF hoods w/o anything special under the hood are kindof a no-no

Rep Power: 0 ^^^ Yeah thats what i was thinking, that being a no-no and all. I just want a hood. I found ebay hoods for like 70 bucks unpainted, but $130 shipping...and the scratches on the c/f hood isnt even that bad. I probably wouldn't even keep it c/f, just have a shop paint it silver. 150 bucks for a hood though isnt too bad.

Rep Power: 253 Is it invader or EVO style? that would look good painted I think but I don't see the point painting it if it was OEM style(other than that it would be lighter than stock)

Rep Power: 0 It's OEM style. I want to paint it because i'm not sure if i like c/f hoods on 04-05, or would even want it c/f, but either way, 150 bucks for a hood is a good deal, since i can't find one that doesn't have $100+ shipping. and thats all i want since i have this on it.

Rep Power: 0 Its not as bad as i thought it would be. It has a weird feeling to it, then again, its my first time riding in a lowered car and all. On my way to work, i drive through many dips and i thought i would bounce all over the road, but it wasnt bad at all. I think it's alright.

Rep Power: 364 You might as well try to hammer out the dent on your hood, its really not that bad, I took a crease and softball sized dent out a fender and it looked about 95% perfect except the paint job blew *****. Might as well have a go at it since your replacing it anyways.
As for the CF hood, check it out, if the scraches arent super deep into the fibers, and just in the clear, look into getting it. Find out the brand, and figure out what it goes for new, and how much of a deal your getting. Throw it on, if you dont like how it looks, take it to the paint shop.
anyways, looking good. How you like the fogs- where did you get them, and do u have any pics of their output?
