alright guys i just got my rsx-s muffler welded and iono how to make it stop vibrating so much. when im at a stop light its hitting something. and when im going over bumps its hitting something too but its not as bad when im at a dead stop. i talked to the shop and they said we can't make it stiffer kus it will break a pipe or something when you turn and stuff. any suggestions guys?

if its vibrating so much you could have a front torn motor mount.... and the noise your hearing at a stop or going over bumps, its hitting the sway bar... mine did the same thing.. the bend is slightly different on the type s muffler...

my friend looked for where it was hitting. the top of the muffler box was hitting the bottom of the car behind the rear bumper and i also noticed the rubber pieces holding the muffler are very flexible. maybe kus the muffler is heavier and bigger then the stock one that's why its not holding it tight like the stock one thats why its moving around. For the motor mount, i dont know i will have to check into that.

i didnt like the RSX-S exhaust, i got mine off an 06 type s a spec and idk just didnt do it for me, had it mounted with a custom catback exhaust no resonator and it was tinny sounding and then i had it mounted with a Thrush Glasspack resonator, less tinny but still sounded RICE up high. Sold it to a friend and it sounds nice on his ride though idk why
