Oh and the seats didnt come from a car in a wreck. The guy i got them from took them out of his car bc he got Recaros. So yeah im still confused..
Even if the car was not in an accident, there still might be a malfunction, there are different error codes for the seat belt buckle tensioners, could be low voltage/high voltage/ low resistance etc etc, or it might be that if only the driver seat had the SRS light come on could be that there was no passenger if the car when it was in a wreck, the belt buckle tensioners only deploy if they detect a seat belt that is clipped in.

of course they dont line up with the rear deck, cause the RSX seats are smaller height wise then our stock seats, you really cant notice unless i point it out to you or you are a picky as hell...i trimmed 3 inches from the outside of each seat, a good measure is youll see if you pull the foam back, you'll see a tube, just cut along the outside of the tube

Definite props on getting them in but I really think leathers would look much better than the cloth (especially with those ugly fabric patterns). But its your car so congrats! Also, good job on the seatbelt tensioner srs removal procedure. Ive had rsx seats for almost 3 years and bout a year ago, I switched out the passenger one for another rsx seat but the srs light would not go away. Ive suspected the seatbelt tensioner and now Im pretty sure I found the solution. Too bad its freezing cold here...looks like my srs light will stay on for now

Re: RSX Rear Seats Installed

yeah my car is an 01 ex and it has airbags in the seats, so i was wondering if i got some rsx seats if i could just plug in my harness to the rsx seat so i could still keep my airbags.
