i'm at 170,000 miles. i've put about 75,000 miles on my car making trips through the desert from phoenix to denver, at 100+ miles an hour. 800 miles one way, 8 1/2 hours, non-stop except to get gas. ambient temp range from 115 degrees to -10. from sea level to about 7500 feet. the honda loves it!! injen SRI, obx wrapped header, full exhaust. never gets hot. don't be a weiner....drive fast and save time!!!

Highway driving doesn't really put a big strain on an engine as compared to stop and go unless you're towing maybe.

My Uncle drove his air-cooled VW bug cross country with no problems. Piece of cake for a Honda.
