So Im gona replace my headlights cuz one is cracked and wanted to either go black housing projectors
Or black housing jdm headlights
by the way my car is black...what do u think???

Rep Power: 0 Blacked out OEMs. I had a pair of those projectors and loved the aggressive look of them, but the outer plastic lens was obviously made of some inferior quality plastic and started getting small cracks that looked like buildup. I'm planning on using the clear reflector pieces from my projectors and inserting them into my stock headlights once I black them out. IMO, the OEMs look a lot better when the inside "rings" are also painted vs. just the outer piece.

but I also heard that some projectors have leaks and they arent as bright as OEM

^ yeah, retro thoes projectors to HID projectors and you'll blow away the OEM brightness.
IMO: if you have a 03 or earlier, buy the black housing projectors
if you have an 04+ get the JDM ones.. but make sure they arent some ebay rip off crap, kuz that will be a lot worse.. if you have the 04+ do NOT buy the projectors- thoes are super ugly, not exactly aliens, but pretty unstylish. Keep looking

Rep Power: 247 Well if i get projectors then I want to put in the HID but i'd have to wait till i get money for that...so still more reason to get the JDM OEM, hmmmm.
I have an 05 so ya the projectors look a little weird! but they all seem to have that same style for 05 civics....dang

For the last two weeks I really have been doing research on doing that... and yeah $$$ and time! But fully worth the $$ and time if done right. Hopfully by next year (summer) I will have completed that.

Or you can get the knock off JDM on ebay for 100-150 bucks. OR you can get the same effect by you opening you headlight painting them and spending 15 bucks at the most.
