Rep Power: 0 Bomex or R34 body kit
alright guys im stuck.. i have the choice of either buying the R34 full body kit or the bomex/bmx full body kit. i've been back and forth about which to buy. i want some second opinions. Which would you get regardless the price? i have an 02 civic coupe. i am also purchasing the f1 style fenders for sure. so consider how that will look with the body kit. any opinions and/or pictures would be much appreciated..
thanks
Sean

Rep Power: 227 i vote just keeping it clean. do a mix match with the type r lips and oem lips. then get some nice settle rims. dont want ur car to stick out and everyone attacking it ya know.
clean is the way to go
and for the fenders

Rep Power: 257 i don't really like either front bumper, but i like the 34 rear bumper and the bomex sides....i would go with a diff front bumper or a front lip
i had the bomex kit, and i liked the kit well enough (cept the back bumper :P), but it was fiberglass and any slight impact would crack it, had to have it fixed 3 times in 8 months...
what ever you choose man, make sure you like it. because in the end, it's your car and you have to drive it home .

Rep Power: 0 Say No To Fiberglass!!!!!!!!
I also see you are 17. When i was that age i had big plans for my car. Now that i look back i am very happy i kept it clean. I would regret getting a body kit. Clean is the way to go.

Rep Power: 0 thanks for the opinions...The reason i am going with a kit is that i have to replace the front bumper n rear bumper do to previous owner's accident. lips are out of the question because i dont want to spend the money for such a small amount of material and i would also have to buy a pricey oem front and rear bumper cover. I didnt really like the bomex rear at first but i saw it on a car similar to mine and its not bad looking. and about the fiberglass... it only breaks when u git somthin.. my bro had a fiberglass kit on his s10 with hydros and didnt break till he blew a hose and drug the kit off. Have any of you heard anything about a material called vfiber? supposedly its strong like urethane but cheap like fiberglass... thanks for the help!
