whats up everyone, new to 7th gen. anyways i thought i would tell u guys about my suck a-- experience i had a couple of weeks ago. i have an 01 ex that i just had a timing belt put on at my honda dealership in chattanooga, tn. well i was cruising down the interstate last week and my car jumped time ( the belt honda put on was less than two months old ). well i called honda and told them the story and they pretty much told me they wasnt go to pay to fix it unless something they had done went wrong. well i took it to a honda specialist (independent shop and ase certified) and he checked the head and sure enough it had bent valves in it, but, he said he couldnt tell how it jumped time because everything was still intact. the belt was fine and not frayed anywhere and was tight, although it wasnt as tight as it should be. well ne ways, to shorten the story honda wouldnt pay to fix it, bastards. but it kinda worked out for the better though because im getting another d17a2 engine put in instead of just rebuilding the head. the new motor has 60k miles on it and has a 90 day warranty. as soon as i get my car back friday i will post some pics of it. my car is my life ( oh and my girlfriend too
) so i cant wait to get it back

Thats cool you getting a new motor. I sort of had a similar experience with a timing belt go but that was from downshifting at redline by accident. I bent all my exhaust valves but getting the ride back this week. The dealer sucks *** and will screw you for anything.
thanks man, like i said i cant wait to get it back. im having to drive my sisters 03 kia rio right now
. i will post pics when i get it back, right now ive got a kaminari urethane lip kit, ground control coilovers, spc performance camber kit, 17 inch kobe envy wheels, dc sports header, aem intake, and dual maxspeed exhaust, though im thinking about changing it to the greddy evo2 single exit exhaust. i like the way it sounds now though it has a real deep tone. im in the process of buying a 94-01 integra type r spoiler for it too, dont know how it will look though. it will fit my trunk. i would like to get the kaminari wing that goes with my kit, but i aint got the money for it now that i had to buy that engine

I find it's easiest to attach the files to each post. Click on the paper clip, then find the file on your computer, make sure its under the specified length/width and file size, you might need some photo editing software to get it right:shug: It will say attached file, then make sure you select the file by clicking on the paper clip again and selecting the pictures, it will say in the text box Attachment 45 or something....hope that helped at all
