Rep Power: 0 RSX Front End?
Okay- so I've been looking around at random junkyards in the past couple of weeks for parts to fix my front end- I'm basically in need of headlights, grill, and both fenders. I have been able to find next to NOTHING for an 01-03 Civic and even less if I chanced the 04-05 conversion.
I have however gotten a lead on a complete flawless RSX front end. How much work would it take to get this front end swapped over onto my Civic? Is it a straight bolt over? Or would I need to have some work done? I did some searching and have found lots of stuff to do with 6th generation swap overs, but nothing on a 7th gen, and considering I already have a RSX-S spoiler, it'd be cool to have the front end on there.

Rep Power: 287 it would take WAY too much work to do an rsx front swap. The body lines dont match up, the radiator support and headlight spots are completely different, and i think the rsx front is actually shorter, not positive tho.
...check ebay for the parts you need. You can get fenders easy, and just put a cf hood and headlights are easy to find too.

Rep Power: 287 also, on the rsx, the top part of the fenders go partially into the a pillar, the 7thgen fenders do not. just take a look at the pictures of the rsx front end and 7thgen front end and youll see its not even close to being a bolt on.

Rep Power: 287 even doing the 04-05 conversion, youre still going to have to buy the radiator core support since the headlights are completely different. Just get the replacement parts and use the extra money for some mods.
....or put it in savings. lol

Rep Power: 278 the car shown above didnt use the rsx fenders. the fenderswere cut to match the rsx bumper and headlight. you would still need to buy the parts to fix the car to do that swap. IMO a waste of money. you can ebay the fenders headlights and hood easliy. if you went with gunmetal of balcked out lights and a cf hood it would save you money because of paint and the cost of stock headlights. you can probably get everything for under $1k
