Rep Power: 0 Took some pics today 56k Beware
I just installed my cf hood the other day and thought I'd take some pics today. I plan on getting another set of headlights some time soon I just can't decide which looks better on a white car cleared or blacked I'm leaning towards blacking them out but I don't know if blacked out ones would look right with the mirrors and door handles blacked input is welcome. I would like to paint the door handles and mirrors but I'm 16 and money takes a while to get and most body shop around me cost a ton because they only want to do insurance claimed vehicles.

Rep Power: 0 I think I would go the black out route instead of clearing and the door handles/ mirrors really don't look bad so I wouldn't worry about it. I would instead save money for a tint cause that is probably all you need... but I would spraypaint your calipers and drums grey or black, red drums are kinda lame imo.

Rep Power: 450 damn that looks really good. Like some other people said i wouldnt worry too much about the mirrors and door handles, it looks fine how it is. I would invest in some tint tho and black out those headlights...other than that i think your car looks sweet

Rep Power: 261 Looks good! Like said before red drums don't look good...thats why I painted mine black. I personally think cleared headlights look good on light color cars, plus its free, and if you don't like it...just take it back apart and paint it.
Keep it up.

Rep Power: 0 Thanks for the comments. I'm probably going to buy blacked out ones from robearracing soon I don't really want to break the seal the factory ones so when it comes to reselling it I can just throw the oem ones back on and I don't really want to worry about a broken seal and fogging up. Thanks for the ideas though.

Rep Power: 0 I know red drums are pretty ricey but to me the car looks so plain with out the red brakes. I hope to do a rear disc swap but I don't know if it'll work with it being an lx without abs and I heard a proportioning valve is needed.

Rep Power: 222 You should black out the tail lights and put black viynal on the roof, that would make it sick as ****, a friend of mine had it done to his g35 and it looks good, btw how much did you pay for the cf hood?

Rep Power: 272 That is pretty nice car for beeing 16 years old. Love the rims probably because I have the same ones. What size are your rims...18"?
Don't let the black handles and mirrors hold you back. They look fine for right now and you have plenty of time later down the road to do them.
The headlights I would DIY black (w/amber inserts) them out due to the carbon fiber hood. Now if you didn't have that CF hood I would have just cleared them.
Overall I love it. Nice and clean! Keep it up!
