i dont think its tacky at all. i have one bride zeta 2 neo as my driver seat and an rsx passenger seat. the reason being...
1)2 non reclining buckets are just impractical for a daily driven car.
2) its hard to find a zeta 2 neo in good condition period.
therefore i still proudly rock my zeta 2 and my rsx passenger till next month when i instal the new brix2 passenger.
heres a pic of my set up...

I have seen 1 or 2 members do it a while ago here, and it honestly looks bad.
But hey I am not here to tell someone that they are wrong/right.

One seat is fine, just like Mach said, it's impractical to have 2 non reclining seats in the car if its daily driven. If you wanna rock 1 seat, more power to you, your driving and riding in it, no one else.
Whoever asked how much my seats were, they are $699 each and the brackets and sliders are like 150 each, but i didn't pay that much. I can't say how much i paid for them then others will go to the person and tell them they want them for that price, like someone did with the Volks i ordered. So i can't say how much i pay for stuff anymore.

Maybe not gay, but ghetto.
There is only one reason to have a single seat switched out - if you're tracking a daily driven car and have a seat specifically for the track day. Other than that, it's fvcking cheap looking to have just one seat. Yay for ricerdom.
