well personally i prefer the neuspeed springs myself. and for shocks, konis are usually pretty good, but i couldnt tell you anything about the prices. as for tint, just depends on the shop you go to, but your gonna pay more for quality work

eibach is a good company but that is not gonna drop his car the 2.5inches he wants.

my advice would be to buy him Tein Basics or Tein SS coilovers and then tint it. That way, his car is lowered and they are adjustable so if he wants his car lower or raise after you get it installed for him....

Tein Basics = $800-$1000 plus install which would be like $200 roughly...
Tint= for just the back windows = $150ish and for the front dones as well (not windshield) $200-250

Then he will need a camber kit.

SPC Camber kit (front and rear)= $130ish Dezod Motorsports

For way less than 2000 dollars you can get a nice set of coilovers and a good tint, at least around where I am. Where in Canada are you located? I got my Megans for about 1300 and my tint for about 200.

Also...um....won't your boyfriend eventually sign on and find this post?

tint should not cost more then 250 for all the windows. i got all my window tinted for only $170, i got the tein baisc coilovers and love it. cost me $890+100 for installing it. you must get a camber kit also. SPC is perferred most on the site, and should cost about $155-$160. the camber kit should only cost about $50 at most for it gettiin install also. g.l. and i wish i had a g.f. lik you... buyin me car things.

i say that u should go for neuspeed race prings and koni shocks.
neuspeeds
konis
you should be able to find someone to install them for around $150. i got mine installed for $110. but im in miami. tint should be no more than $75 for a professional job. you just need to look around for good deals.

First off, she said her boy wants 2.5inch drop...neuspeeds dont do that for you.

Secondly, $75 for a tint job, thats pretty low. You would have to have a pretty good friend for that price. i could see 100, but not 75

theres a shop right next to my house that does it for $75. you could even get a decent tint for $50 at opa locka fea market. there are a ton of tint shops in my neighborhood so i guess they have to have low prices to be competative. all she has to do is find an area with a ton of shops and talk down the price. all shops can be negotiated with. i thought the race springs were 2.5... my bad .

Remember guys, she's in Canada, factor in the exchange rate for all pricing, and often the price on suspension components is higher even after exchange rate because shipping to both retailers and private buyers in Canada is much higher than just within the states.

go look at the tein ss-p coilovers, I got mine for $1220 at heeltoeauto.com and they're great, email them and they'll most likely give them to you for that price, i think that included shipping, and tint is only at the most around $200

Eibach does make their own coilovers, and dezod even sells them. (Dezod is amazing so ordering from him should be hassle free)

http://www.dezod.com/pd_eibach_prostreet_coilovers.cfm

Also consider Tein since they are amazing

now this would all go into what he expects from the ride and what the use would be for. from tein to koni/ground control. i would say since ur in canada you may want adj for snow and everything. so you dont mess up the car, but the problem is adjusting them in the snow.

and tint i did back half for about 140.

In all honesty i think your best bet is gonna be the Tiens. Whether you decide to go for th basic or the SS you should still have enough to tint.

i'm sure he's not goin for extreme drivin/racin, so gettin the tein ss would be a waste of money. the tein basic should be enough.
