Well, not sure if this has been asked before but I wanted to know what you guys thought. I was considering putting this on the front grill of my '05 civic but didn't now if it would be rice or not ! It's the 1st one. Si emblem.

He has the same car as me probably. Our Si is different than your American Si, it's the same as an EX. Your Si is our SiR hatchback for that year... from '06+ an Si is the same in both countries.

I knew what car you had, but its like putting an emblem that doesnt apply to your car on. Its a canadian SI (EX), its like saying you have a Lancer but instead you put on the EVO emblem. Oh, and yes i like being a smartass. lol. it keeps it interesting in here

This is my 1st Honda. Just wanted to know if it would look ok, that's all ! It clips into the grill, not a sticker. I was debating either to get the Sedan grill or put the Si Emblem on

I've been thinking about something kind of along these lines. The basis of "rice" is more looks than actualy quality. Personally, I think it'd be kind of cool to put a Si or Type R emblem on an EM2, if it could live up to the standards implied by such a badge, i.e. a K-swapped coupe, etc. Does that make any sense at all? It makes sense in my mind.

Yeah. There's nothing wrong with putting it on, because you DO drive an Si. Just carry around with you the brochure that says "Si" for your model. Then when people say "ricer!" You pull the brochure out and say I'm the Juggernaught BITCH!, and proceed to backhand them.

I see where you're coming from there. there are definately some things that common sense says you just shouldn't do.. but when peope do those things I just don't see what gives me a right to tell them not to do it (unless it's a safety issue). it's all a matter of opinion and lets face it.. some people like "rice".
