shifter help!

ok i have b&M short shifter...but the shifter is not short enough for me....the throw is great but the height of the shifter is killin me.....so i was wonderin how to cut the shifter down and get it rethreaded?

Take a dremel, cut it off, go and buy a 10x1.5 Die, and rethread it

i did that to my stock shifter. it was a bitch to find the threading tool. the only place that had it was lowes and it was like $40. i had a shitty dremel so it took forever to cut it down, but if you have a corded one, it shouldnt take more than an hour to do.

Better yet, if you don't want to have to rethread it, go and buy a universal aftermarket shiftknob that attaches with the three screws around the bottom, rather then spinning on.
