Is There Enough Room Behind The Front Bumper For A CAI Filter????
well i was thinking today that if i buy one of those cheapo ebay intakes, cut them up and attach it to my existing CAI so that the filter goes by one of the fog light holes or the center grille....will the filter be able to fit without it hitting the bumper??? I know it wont make like a 20 hp gain or whatever but i was just thinking it would look pretty cool and give some colder air in since the CAI's now are just behind the bumper, any info would be great...thanks

its like maybe a foot under the headlight, i have a bypass valve but also when it rains i think it would splash on it and stuff which im worried about but i can always switch it out during the winter, but the summer is coming so rain is gonna be my biggest worry, but i wanna do it...how much trimming will be needed??

Injen's CAI's place the filter behind the bumper. And many people (myself included) have been able to install it without cutting anything....well, I did have to cut the battery tray a bit....but that's all.

something like this but that would be a filter instead of the velocity stack

now this is the grille i have, there are little slits and holes in it so i dont think that much water would get on the filter
