I have no idea... lol I think its cuz its JDM and maybe a lot of jap race cars use them? I have no idea about the history... Im guessing its just like other JDM parts like spoon and mugen etc.

there around $400-$500 depends where you find them, my buddy has them in his eg and they look real good with his brides

If not for autox or drag then for show, score some points with those things, you pay $500 for those things your getting ripped off. I'm getting them for around $350 a piece but you should be able to find them for around $375-$425 give or take a little. Go to www.ephatch.com there is a guy on there who is selling them in a group buy and the guy who always has all the SSR stuff sells them cheaper.
