more pics yo

ok. so funny story. what took so long was the tie rod hammering. i mean we had to wack that thing like 100 times before it popped out. and we used wd40 and everything. another snag was the first rear strut bolt. taking it apart was a bitch cause you had to use the hex key and a wrench at the same time. so after a few cuts on my hands from trying too hard, i went to lunch at about 2. came back and put on the snow gloves, really thick ones. finally got the bolt to move. the other part that took forever was i had to get my ex to stand on the rear control arm to align the bolt with the strut in the back. after 1 hour of not being able to do it. i called my bro(in the picture) to come. he weighs a good 240. and has huge wide feet. so with his big *** foot being able to do the job, it was alot easier.
yea so thats what took the most amount of time. everything else, including taking the stuff apart was easy.

i went to wild bills. but the DJ sucked. he was the Q100 DJ and he kept changing the songs every 30seconds. he was really really gay. normally that club rocks on college night.
after i finally put on my rear sway, my next stuff will be either the gauges, or the white neons under the car.

and funny thing about mex's DIY.
it said that only the 02 and up had the arrows pointing which way the indexing should be, but when i took mine out, each said L or R on them. i was like WTF. o well, hehe better. and they already had white out on them showing the index direction. i was like, "somoene must have done this before lol"

Looks sweet man!!!
I've never dropped a car, nor do i have any idea how.
Doing it yourself, what would all the parts cost for a proper drop? (also note... I need to be able to bring it back up... living in Canada and driving a dropped car is not good in the winter! )
What'da need, shocks, springs, 'camber kit?'

i got some extra sockets(deep ones) and some wrenches.
so the extra sockets were like 6 bucks, extra wrenches 6 bucks, and the spring compressor which is 40= but i get that back, cause they do rentals like that for free
the rest i already had. go check the DIY. its ALOT of fun to do! but its frustrating when you hit a snag man. btw i never had an idea how either. i just picked up the directions and started working.
haha!
No i meant for the parts that are replaced on the car!
Not that I'm a mechanic... but given everything I've ever had to do on cars, I've never touched suspension, or brakes for that matter (but for pads and rotors)
So I'm not too sure what's involved when you drop it, and what an avg. kit costs?
I'm assuming you need shocks, springs, camber kit (whatever that is) - not sure what the avg. cost of any of that is :S
