I'm Never Getting My Car Back?!
Ok well I got my car lowered. Apparently the guy didn't know what he was doing, because Thompson Honda is now fixing it all, under warranty
. One of my shocks blew as soon as it got lowered. They are replacing the shocks and everything. But I'm not sure what part it is, but the part is on back order. So my car has been at Honda for like 2 weeks. It's horrible!
But on a side-note atleast I get to drive my mom's Hemi (2006 300C Hemi). But driving a 5speed is just so much more fun!

Nice, why not do it right and buy aftermarket struts so that they don't blow again. Or even get coilovers to solve all the problems. Your struts are gonna blow again, just give them time. Maybe not 2 months but eventually they will, a strut is only made to take so much.

Some Hondas are nice and others are dicks. I've got the hook up at my honda and my warranty is covered no matter what.
guess you gotta either no people or meet the nice ones.
guess you gotta either no people or meet the nice ones. so are u talking about sleeved coilovers or fullcoilovers? can u run stock struts on sleeved coilovers?

I'm talking about full coilovers, may I suggest Tein Basics or SS. I have the SS and love them. Sleeved coilovers will fit on stock struts but that is just as bad a springs, cause whenever you lower the coilover down the force on the strut is too much for the stock strut, then the stock strut blows and your back to step 1. I would say either A. Buy Full Coilovers or B. Buy aftermarket struts with the springs.

I'm not sure why your car is still there? Even if it is on backorder Honda is able to order the parts and have them there usually next day. If not 2 days, I would be checking up and see what they are doing.

I had a lot of suspension noises after being lowered. Bushings, and a lot of other stuff I don't know about. Like I said one of my shocks was blown, I think they replaced all 4.
We just called about a loaner car, and they said they had 1 bushing they couldn't get to stop making noises. After that I get it back after 2 weeks. Sadly enough I'm actually EXCITED to get my Civic back, after driving my mom's 300C Hemi all week.

See i would love to have one, i'm trying to talk my mom into geting one, but she would rather have a sports car or coupe. I'm trying to convince her to get a Acura TL. We'll see.

Also like "drew" said those parts come in quick if they don't have it on hand. I don't think there should be any reason that they should have kept it that long for what was wrong with it. Call again and see what is going on!

They said they fixed everything else, but the rear camber kit is making a binding noise still. He said something like the bolt is moving and making a noise. That I need a camber kit where the nut it welded on. I have a SPC Camber kit.. Anyone know where I can get one where the nut is welded on?

That shouldn't matter, i have the SPC Camber Kit and not a damn thing squeeks, rattles, or sounds like anything moving, people usually at Honda don't know sh|t about aftermarket stuff.
