1/2 painted interior
I said I was going to do this a long time ago and never got around to posting pics b/c I did a bad job of painting (thick coats). But here is what it would look like for those that asked me

Classic case of great idea poor execution. Any suggestions to strip the paint so I can redo it?
edit: sorry about big pics

despite those pics being really high resolution you can't see that there are still spots of tan showing through on the door panels and on the rear deck there are tons of smudge marks in the clear coat b/c I did not read to let it dry 24 hours.
And when I redo it I will use a flat paint b/c it is really far too shiny

If done right I think it'd look really nice.
I dunno about flat black-- it could look... well, too flat. Test on a scrap piece of plastic first to see how you like it. Matte black may be the shine you're looking for? Also, you may want to consider a slightly lighter, more graphite tone so the contrast with the beige isn't so extreme.
As for painting, I suck at it... but the general rule is to apply thin coats multiple times. Spray cans can drip and get nasty, so a well-maintained airbrush I think would be better.

Well don't get a Flat Black or Gloss Black, go for more of a Satin black. You need to dye the door panels to make them look right, spraying them makes them all hard and could crack. Looks good though from a distance i'm sure. Just make sure thin coats work best. Nice work.
