Rep Power: 301 k20 or turbo
well ive been saving for a couple weeks and i planned it out, i could have all the money for a k20a2 swap by july at the latest or get a custom turbo kit at mainstream performance(local shop) for 3200. but the downside im starting with an auto, should a swap be better in the long run?

Rep Power: 0 Go with the k20 first! Start with something with more power! And it will be more reliable... And then turbo it if you feel it's not enough... Lol

Rep Power: 301 i feel the engine swwap would be best, since the shop has a K24 block at shop, but needs new internals, so i could be at more torque and whp than starting off with a turbo and little internals, plus it would be way much more fun to have a 6spd, orver a auto!

Rep Power: 0 Hasport have the mounts for a k24 block and k20 head yet? Last i heard the valve cover sat just a little too high, and the hood couldnt close. Im torn with the same decision. to make the turbo reliable it will cost more than the swap.... but you have a near equal hp to torque ratio..... but then again... one tire fires are no fun. Hope wichever you go with works out for you.
