I could probably sell this Civic for around 12,500 and make some money on it but unfortunetly I need a reliable car since I'm in school. Can you imagine how much money used car dealerships make? They make at least 1500 on a car..... they sell 10 cars and thats 15,000 in profits.

I wish I had like $100k cash saved up......... I would buy 100 Civics for 10k each and resell them for 11.5k hahaha, I wish. And repeat the cycle.

Yea, when I found out about the method of getting cars from auctions couple years ago I thought its a great idea to change cars every couple years and keep the money I invested originally stable in the car....

However, the Civic is one of the VERY FEW cars this works with because their resale value owns all cars and its a car that 90% of the population can afford.... meaning its very easy to sell. When I was selling my 2001, I posted it on autotrader and received like 8 calls in the first 5 days.... the 1st caller got the car. I personally think the Civic is one of the best/smartest buys anyone could make. The cars I was looking at getting (IS300, STi...) are all fun cars all of which I was ready to take a decent hit in resale.... but that will have to wait for a little. As of now the vic is the smartest car to get.

Honda's resale value is great because they don't slap on incentives on their bread and butter cars. Accords, Civics, and CR-V's are a couple of cars I would sell if I ever had money...
