Was on the way to Honda Day in the Vic with my friend and his SI in back, doing a steady 60 MPH in the fast lane on the Garden State Parkway. Just crusin when this kid with his g/f in an accord were in front of us going a bit slower then us, we were a good 4-5 car lenghts behind him, he suddenly stops, and i mean like dead stop, i stomp on my brakes, the abs kicks in, the tires lock, we skid a good 3-4 car lenghts, and u know that how front wheel brakes are, if you stomp on them, it raises the end of the car up, so his end of the car goes up, i guess my cars tires were ****, yeah 3 month old car, Honda Dealer put Firestone tires, it felt like the my tires were made out of metal, and the tires hopped when the brake was slammed, i hit him at like 10 mph or less, so my car was low due to me braking while his car was high in the air.So when i hit him, his cars bumber fell on top of mine, my friend in the SI, if he hadnt swerved left and right a bit, he would of hit me in the rear, but luckly managed to swerve to the right lane, and his tires were smoking, he managed to stop right next to me. So we get out ask the usual, are u okay, whatever, his bitch of a girlfriend was like im calling the cops right now, cops came, was a real *******, i was taking his info down, he was like gimme that, you dont need that, filled out a police report, he was like if u want the report send a request to the NJ police department with 10 dollars, so i was like **** that, neither of ur got eachothers information, while my car is ****ed, and his car has lil damage, now for my damage, bumper is ****ed, right headlight is pushed way back in, radiator is bent, but luckily not leaking, hood is creased, quarter panel is pushed back about 1 mm, RS grill got ripped out, H symbol went flying off, the metal bar going across the engine bay, the part behind the headlight is bent, here are some pics, now i got a couple of questions, the radiator is bent, but its not leaking, and when i mean bent, its like a slight curve do u think i should replace it, if its intact ?, and also will a sedans headlights fit a coupe ?

Yeah everything is fine except that i got to fix my car now, which is no biggie, its just the time it will take for me to get the money to fix my car, and i would of stopped alot more quickly if i didnt have shitty *** low quality firestone tires, that were once known to blow out, if i had azenis, i would of stopped with feet to spare

^^ werd...its not like they were real tickets and plus **** happens its not like he hit the accord intentionally...also abs was an option on the civic ex's but very rarely were they equiped with them...in canada the civic si-g's have abs and so do the el's...here in the us abs is just a dream with civics...lol locking up happens when u slam the brake too hard or if u have abs u pump ur break

im only 18 man, i had the car for 3 months, sniff sniff, just kididing, its no bigge dude, its okay, i dont want my rate to go sky high for insurance cause im 18 and this is my first accident, i have a buddy that is gonna hook me up with a bumper and stuff, so id rather fix it myself and get to know my car better u kno, well we will see if he calls it in, cause insurance now a days is no fault, you are both held liable and ****, so i dont think hed call my insurance to fix his lil dents and scratches while his insurance pays about $1000 - $1500 for parts directly from the dealer which is just retarted and body work

ooh ooh...do an 04 conversion...if u have a hook up at a body shop u can make ur own fenders...since u need a new hood bumper and headlight and core support for the radiator...get all the 04 parts and have them cut ur fenders or u can just buy the 04 fenders...heh...only a thought
