Possible to run a hitch???

I have an 04 Civic Ex coupe, and I am looking at buying a new ATV...I was wondering if anyone knew if I would be able to put a hidden hitch on the car to pull a single ATV trailer???

I don't wanna have to buy a truck AND an ATV...but I might have to if I cannot do the hitch!!

Thanks in advance!!

I'd have to agree with this. A 1.7L doesn't have much speed, much less torque. ATV's tend to go in "all terrain" conditions, which means perhaps mountains... and a civic pulling anything up a hill isn't a good idea.

I can even feel the reduced power when my car is full of people, or a big guy is sitting next to me...

But it worked in that other thread. Just hope the ATV is light

01civicexboy is an unknown quantity at this point
My friend had a 2002 lx and he tows his motor bike with it. He says he can tell the difference but that he never really encounters hills...

just find 3 200+lbs ppl put em in your car and drive around and that will be the same as towing your atv.

hehe..thanks for the responses...I figured it would definitely slow the car down, but wasn't sure if it would hurt it at all.

I think I am gonna hold off a while and get a beater truck to haul an ATV, just to save my baby from the abuse!!!!
