Well, its time for me to find a new tranny... After a month or so of trying to figure out what to do i took it to a local shop and they evaluated the car and gave me the bad news. Now, i have several options in my book
1. Either get a new auto tranny.
2. Find a salvaged 01 civic and use that tranny
3. Find a rebuilt tranny
4. swap it the auto out with 5 speed tranny.
What do you guys think is the best option? and keep in mind i am not gonna get rid of this car. And i plan long down the road to swap the engine with a k20a2 or something with more power, and i am leaning towards a 5 speed swap since that would make it easier to swap and engine in. The only thing i worry about is the cost of the 5 speed swap.
Comments or ideas please

i dont know about the price of the swap for the 5 speed, but i got a quote for a new auto tranny would be around $1,800 bucks not including labor which would run about 500...

i have a 5speed tranny with 30k miles on em, the bell housing needs to be replaced but everything else is in 100% working condition, plus I will give you the shift cable, tranny fork/rubber boot, fork spring, used release bearing, used slave cylinder and the alloy piece that holds the shift cable on the tranny... for only 280shipped let me know before the 23rd, i'm leaving outta town for a month... if you need a clutch and disc I also have that, I have a used ACT extreme kit with less than 3k miles on them... if you want both I will let it go for 500shipped... let me know

well my auto tranny went out after 3 times under warranty I decided to build it this time instead of a swap. Levelten has one of my trannies right not and I hav ea local shop rebuilding mine with the kit from TCI Auto so I will post up my review of how it really is after its complete.
