Pics of 7th gens on rims w/o drop
i cant help with a picture...but IMO, i wouldnt get rims w/o a drop. if your going to go with a bigger(17n up) u might b able to get away with it, but if your going with a 15-16in rim u need to drop it. i have tein S-tech (1.5 in drop about) n i have the stock 5spoke alloy from 2001 n it looks nice n clean. just my input.

Most reputable spring companies gaurantee against spring sagging. Eibach for example gives a million mile warranty against sagging, defects, workmanship, etc. Others do the same like H&R who offer a life time warranty. Not sure about Neuspeed.

17y w/o a drop doesnt look that bad, Im more concerned about not liking my daily drive rather then just the money.

If your main concern is retaining your stock ride comfort, perhaps only buy the tires and wheels first then later decide on the other parts. Once you go away from stock tire size to a lower profile, you ride can become more harsh especially with Z rated or higher tires. Consider H rated tires for a softer sidewall. Then look at springs that dont give a large drop as they tend to be fairly close to stock spring rates. Companies like Eibach(Prokit is 10-15% stiffer over stock), Tein and H&R make springs like this.
I am lowered on Sportlines and with my previous tires 215/40/16(very small by the way) the car didn't look bad and tire performance was at its best, but I had a huge wheel gap. With the new tires on 205/55/16, the gap was eliminated and the ride is a lot more confortable, but as a consecuence the final gear drive was altered and now it takes a longer time to get to higher speeds. I also had to roll the fenders so that the tires wouldn't rub.
Here's the diference:
w/old tires

w/new tires

215/45/17 with no drop.
I'd suggest you drop it, or just stick with stock wheels. I think my car looks like crap, not dropped. My suspension is coming soon.

As far as ride quality is concerned, what made the biggest difference with me was going with a 40 series sidewall height (205-40-17). That made my ride suck! I hate these tires, you feel every pebble with them. Im on v2 Hayame coilovers and I actually love them, they diddn't make that big of a difference as the tires did.
Mu advice would be to lower it a bit, 1-1.5 inches, and get a 215-45-17 tire, something with a little sidewall to it. My tires it feels like I'm riding on rubberbands!
