smoked tail lights
hey wasup guys i was thinkin about smokin out my oem tail lights..i have a black car and wonderin how it would look..if u guys have any pics or seen any please leave comments thanks!
i have it done on my black car...the entire tail light is smoked. Ive seen it where it was all the tail light except the reverse light...thats just gay.
I have had tons of complements on mine...they are dark during the day, but you are still able to see the lights when you apply the brake even with direct sunlight on them. At night, its hard to tell that the tails are smoked unless you are right up on them cause they are still very bright.
I am able to smoke tails for people if they want...i am in Santa Cruz, Cali...my cost is $70...but you wont be sorry about it.
I use a clear coat mixed with a dye...you can choose the color dye if you want. I just need them for a day...if i get them in the morning, you can pick them up that night.
Let me know, and if not...good luck with it...it looks sweet on black cars.

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day. 
i'll try and post pics tonight if i can...If you dont live anywhere near cali just send your tails to me...you'll be out of a car for a little while...i dont know what to do about that other than you going out and buying an extra set of tails that you can send away for a little while.

sorry about the pics guys...my buddy with the camera was out tonight. I will be able to post pics soon though. I would really like to get day shots so you guys can see how dark they are, and the really nice glossy finish, and some night shots so you guys can see how much they light up. So, just hang in there for a little longer.

smoked tails look killer on any color of car as long as you have other accents to go with it. My friend has a silver WRX with smoked tails, and side markers, tinted windows, and black rims...and it looks SICK!! It is such an awsome looking ride. Pics will be up soon guys...just a little while longer.

we use a dye (color of your choice) and a clear coat...we dont really use a paint to color them. We found that with a paint, that it gets too dark, and that it isnt reflective, or glossy...thats why we use the clear coat.

I have smoked out tails on my 05 magnesium civic...it looks hot as hell but I can't seem to be able to post them...if you leave me ur e-mail then i can send them to you...or tell me how the hell i can add them to the message...as you can see by one of my posts in the other parts and products section, it didn't attach them for some reason...
