Saving up for a new car, what should i get?

Well, when i graduate high school this may, im probably gonna buy me a new car and give my civic to my sister. Started saving money already and already saved up 10k. I am looking for cars in 20-40k range. I want something fast but looks good also. So far my choices are RSX-S, Lancer Evo, BMW Z4, Nissan 350Z, and Honda S2000. Which one do you think is the best choice, or what other car would you recommend?

Depends on what you want. For a daily driver, evo all the way. If you want to modify your car, rsx type-s. If you like the track, s2000.

I know for sure that it will be a daily driver, and i wont go to the tracks. I will be modding it though.

EVo....STi......with a 10k-12k downpayment you can get a real good deal on them....remember 05 STi's have a indestructable 6 spd tranny and a motor that has proven to withstand 500+whp stock!

Evo 8 is awesome stock. Insurance shouldn't be horrible either, because most people our age don't have evos to crash

What about RSX-S? I can drop about 10k down payment, then have some money for Mods, but would that be as fast as an Evo?

I would have said S2K or 350Z, but you also want daily drivability.... plus I have a feeling insurance will be way up there.... so RSX-S

Do you know any place to get a free instant insurance quote of some sort? I want to see the insurance rate for each car.

i say sti also..you will not be dissapointed..trust me...on the other hand..if you want to be unique and not go for what everbody has..get a 350z..i dont see that many "kids" with these..and they look awsome...( if you get a 350z, get the hard top convertible)

hmmm..well ur in alabama, if u were here in cali goin to any college, then none of those cars would be unique, and that is me living by uc riverside, see like 10-15 of each of those cars everyday.......but if ur a big guy, the s2000 wouldnt be the greatest driver and the noise level inside id horrible, i drive my roommates s2k quite often as well as his rx-8, the rx-8 has more room, looks like a bug buts starting the car in first feels a lot better than the s2k. Sti is gettin on the ugly side....so stay witht the rsx...just geet k-pro, race headers, intake, new cams, exhaust and coilovers and you would be set.. so my vote is RSX

If you had to choose between an Evo or STI, disregarding the speed of each. Which one would you choose? The comfort and everything like that.
