Got Rear-Ended

I was stopped at a yield sign and some cop rear ended me

He was in uniform but wasn't in his cruiser. I'm gonna bring it to the insurance tommorow. Only the bumper is cracked, anyone know how much an 04 bumper is?

Well 11 posts later I'll answer you question...

I got rear-ended twice within 6 months and both times the bill came to $900 CND, or just a little over $700 USD to prime, paint and install an OEM bumper for an '02 model.

I'm gonna get an estimate from the insurance on Saturday. $700 is a lot of money for just a bumper!

Well the $700 isn't really just for the bumper.. that's for labor costs, paint, and the bumper.. labor costs being the most expensive part probably

actually thats what happened to my friends older brother. he has this 4 door 6th gen and accident, then a guy that is across from their thai place hooked em up with the paint and fit so he just got the kit.

I decided to just get a new OEM bumper for now and get the 04 Aero Kit in the spring.

my 04 bumper and was 600.00 to replace with the paint job, the bumper cover, the foam shock absorber and the clips that hold it in place.... i got rearended too

i got rearended too but i got 500 from the inusurance, turns out they are not replacing it but refurbishing it , thats gay

but i want a new bumper not a fixed one!!!

Oh man, that sucks! They said they had to replace mine because "a brand new car should have brand new parts"

well i think ima bitch at my insurance car, but it is a year ol (my 04) and it has almost 25k miles on it already, i think they will only replace it if it has less than 9k with oem and i only want oem parts on my car

anyways i bought a boss kit so it should go on soon, so bumpers will go on sale after its installed
