Exclamation SRS light on!!!

i unpluged the seatbelt plug underneath my seat. then i pluged it back in and my srs light wont go off. what can i do?

there is a DIY in 7thgen.........and its soooooooooooooooo fukin easy.....
raed it print it and save money...the dealer was charging me $80 because i did the same thing..i unplugged the seats when i was doing my interior...
trust me man.........its sooooooooooooo easy.....

LOL the diy didnt work for my srs light it ended up being my passenger seat belt buckle. They wanted me to pay for it but just remember our civics come with a warranty for the useable life of the car for our restraint systems.

its really easy, and no you don't have to buy a plug. Just use a paper clip or do what I did and cram a short piece of wire in each hole and touch them together each time you're suppose to plug it in.

First time mine came on I took it to the dealer and they found nothing wrong and charged me $89. I was pissed

good job. It usually takes a few tries but its not bad, a lot better than spending $80+ at the dealer

yeah the warranty..but if expired like mine and you also know what caused the problem..in his case same as mine...we umplugged the sensor under the seat....but if ur driving around and the srs light comes on...then i would take it to the dealer....

To avoid this problem next time, don't turn the car on while the connector is unplugged. Disconnecting the battery is the best thing to do.

my srs light had been on for the last year, and you dont' see me complaining about it... and if i reset it it still doesn't turn off... use the search engin next time
