Here's what I got so far...
Still need the front bumper..should be done next week. Got the sides and the rear done though. Paint is not complete yet either so it'll look a slight bit different. Not that you can tell from this crappy fotoh. Yes, I'm aware it needs a drop. No, I'm not going to drop it right before snow season. hehe The sides and rear are in fact molded on. I wanted the edges of the skirts to show like they do. I'll take some closer pics so you can see that it's actually molded. Molded and entire car painted over. It's quite clean.

the point of molding a kit to make it look as if the cars body is as "one" with the body kit....... you might as well just put the kit on like the rest of us. thats my opinion.... but like you said, its your car.
