At the last ImportShow, I showed both my cars with Stage7. It is called representing your Team. BTW my little CRX will smoke any 7thgen here, including mine.

stage7 isnt only civics? =0

i kinda like the flat black/primer black look. comparing the civic si hatch to your crx, the si is more smooth. i know its not perfect but eh.. still good.

as for that flat black 7thgen... looks like poo. prob because of the rims? =|

I have been sweatin the flat black look since back in the day. i love it on old school muscle cars. and wanted to do it to my integra, but i think it would look badass on the civic. i just havent really looked into it. now im afraid to do it, cause its becoming a fad now. not yet, but soon will be. thats how it is for everything i like. i get an idea from somewhere, and plan on doing it, then dont have the funds, so plan gets put on hold, and then a year or 2 later, everyone is doing it, so i opt out.

I think I saw your car at the OC meets a couple of weeks ago. Do you want some rear disk brakes. $450 since you are local and I dont have to ship?

I think It looks good, but IMO your car needs to be running quick to sport the flat black look.

The old school way for flat black paint is to use steel wool pads to buff it, The really fine pads like SOS but not with the soap. Then instead of using wax, use WD-40 to wax it. It;s the same way Jesse James does it on his car. It is still flat looking but has a little luster to it. 18 more months and I am doing my car. Think about it, someone dings your door, just go to the store and buy a can of paint.

It's been done, I think it was Bazzoka who did it, but I can't remember what kind of car. The bazzoka tubes where set up in different colors and placed in a homemade crayola chalk box. Instead of crayola, it said bazzoka. You could use chalk on the car too.
