Rep Power: 310 stage7 isnt only civics? =0
i kinda like the flat black/primer black look. comparing the civic si hatch to your crx, the si is more smooth. i know its not perfect but eh.. still good.
as for that flat black 7thgen... looks like poo. prob because of the rims? =|

Rep Power: 0 I have been sweatin the flat black look since back in the day. i love it on old school muscle cars. and wanted to do it to my integra, but i think it would look badass on the civic. i just havent really looked into it. now im afraid to do it, cause its becoming a fad now. not yet, but soon will be. thats how it is for everything i like. i get an idea from somewhere, and plan on doing it, then dont have the funds, so plan gets put on hold, and then a year or 2 later, everyone is doing it, so i opt out.

Rep Power: 0 The old school way for flat black paint is to use steel wool pads to buff it, The really fine pads like SOS but not with the soap. Then instead of using wax, use WD-40 to wax it. It;s the same way Jesse James does it on his car. It is still flat looking but has a little luster to it. 18 more months and I am doing my car. Think about it, someone dings your door, just go to the store and buy a can of paint.
