Flat black paint jobs??
How do u guys feel about flat black painted cars or in primer, I saw the one in Sport Compact car ( The WRX ) that looked pretty decent then there is that Si civic from skunk racing what do you guys think?

Its gotta be professionally done. When its even and clean, it looks good. When its rattlecanned, its retarded. Also depends on the car.

I'm doing flat black on my Justy....got the hood done (rattlecan), getting the rest done pro....gotta find some decent looking 15's (16's will rub, it's got factory 12's), I'm thinking 2k1 EX rims....dunno yet. Maybe.

nice...is that flat black...cuz it looks kinda like a earthtones color. dude...i never noticed ur from houston. im gonna be down there for TX2k5..(the supra show). i go to school in abilene. holla!!!
The CRX is primered w/ light coat of flat black over it. The sun was bright and made the paint look lighter than what it was. At the last show it looked darker than what it does in the pics.

As said above I think it looks clean when professionally done not spray can, even though you want that flat black look you still need a clear coat so you can actually wash it. I was thinking of getting it on my eg hatch but then found out I need to re do some stuff on my turbo setup
. If it's a beater rattle can it, it i'll look decent but for a show car I think it's gonna have to be professionaly done.
