Headlight eyebrows/lids/covers
I've seen the normal eyelids on several 7thgens on the site, the ones you can find on quite a few sites as well as on Ebay. They are curvy, sort of tear drop shaped..you know the ones I'm sure. However, I've also seen another type of eyebrow. It's like a strip going just across the top of the headlight. I assume this is just paint. Someone must have painted just that part of the headlight for that effect. Is that correct? Are there other eyelids you can buy like this? I haven't seen them for sale if you can...anyone know?

DIY vinyl eyelids. My friend just picked some up at Pacific Mall (it's the same stuff they make windshield banners out of) and we measured and cut, then cleaned the headlights and put them on. I'm contemplating putting them on again this year...opinions?
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

i just like the plastic ones.

i think these look so much better. obviously not painted yet, but im waiting till spring for nice weather and the whole car is getting painted...
anyways i dislike vinyl alot. the plastics look so much nicer. if you go vinyl at least make them the shape of the plastic ones.

Not feelin the shape of the plastic ones personally. Which is how my eyelids ended up looking like they did up top - the lines on my hood weren't really conducive to a curved eyelid like you have up in your pic. For lack of better design we just put it on as you see above. Perhaps I'll try another design this year...

Damn! It was worth a shot. Can I at least get the measurements you used from you if you still have them? I like the shape of the ones you got. If not, I'll have to make some (gasp) unique ones.
