Tint.
I was thinking about it. When you get the legal tint percentage, dont you have to factor in the factory tinting allready on the window? I noticed that there is a little there. So if its 20% and 5% is allready there, putting 20 opn would then be illegal?

dont double tint your windows, that is stupid. If there is tint already on your car, you might as well leave it, unless it is too light and you would be able to get darker tint that is still legal. If that is the case, remove the old tint, and have it retinted.

my sedan has 20% on the back and 50% up front. i wanted 20% all around but i'm hella blind 
i think i'm going to tint my front windshield at 50% soon. oh, and who is going to notice a 5% different anyways

Rep Power: 434 no. there's some places in VA that are willing to tint your front windshield. I saw a G35 coupe with it done at a 350z/G35 meet. It was pretty sick.

Also you wont be able to get your car inspected anywhere, you will automatically fail, or they wont even inspect it.

Rep Power: 334 I got 9% all around my civic and most cops just don't seem to really care as long as your not driving all stupid. I haven't been pulled over yet and many cops have seen me with all windows up.

Rep Power: 0 no one will tint the front windshield? are you crazy? you just have to know where to go to get it done. maybe they won't do it where you go cuz they're all haters in your area and will give up the shop that did it. around where i live almost any shop will do...for a price. about 60 bucks, not that much. and if you get a ticket, all you have to do is know a cop and be hella cool with him and he'll write it off for you. all you have to do is pay for the 10 dollar fix it ticket.
