I have to say that I have not had good luck at all with my civic. I have had the civic for 6 months now. About 5 months ago a giant rock flew up out of the side of the highway at night when a van was getting off at an exit ramp, I tried to swirve and miss it but it hit my passenger side door and rear quarter. Took it to the shop and got it all fixed up, they even repainted my front quarter and hood cause it had some dings and I know the guys pretty well. About 1.5 months ago I was stopped and some lady wasn't paying attention and slammed into me pretty damn hard, she said that she hit me still going 35 mph. Had the back end chopped off and put back on, so there was the rear quarters, rear bumper, and trunk lid. Just got my car back a couple of weeks ago. Now 2 days ago I was turning left at a light and there are two left turn lanes, the guy next to me was not paying attention and just decided to come over into my lane, I tried to honk and stop but he still got my front driver side quarter and front bumper. It was some old guy that was driving a Benz and just gave me his # and address and told me to have the body shop send him a bill. So I decided since there are a couple of dings in my driver side door to have the body shop do that as well. This means that in the 6 months I have had my car, my entire car will have been painted except for my roof. My car has spent about as much time in the body shop as I have had to drive it. Is that great luck or what??

Pretty neat. Get custom NSX fenders in the rear and custom M3 vents up front and bill the guy.

Sucks for being in the shop so much though.

I pray that day will never come for my civic.

i kno what u mean, not as much damage but everytime i fix it from someone else previously nailing me it gets hit again. been backed into, hit from behind 3 times now, back right panel wheel and door had to be replaced cause someone hit me doin about 35 and while i was at inn and out som suv did a hit and run and now have to replace the front left fender.. so tired of it, and someone put denst in the corners of my sun roof, they must of punched it! im so sick of my civic its a dam target

damn dude, you sound like you have the luck of my friend Bryce.

He owns an Alero and last year he smoked a deer going 90mph down the insterstate, so as you can imagine it messed it up royally. While it was in the body shop he had a loaner car, couldnt decide what to get, he had a choice of a focus zx3 or an escort, so he chose the focus. That same day he got smoked by a red light runner, that car was done for, so he went back to the same rental agency and ended up getting the Escort that same day. A week later he was driving old pickup to get it fixed so he had a car instead of spending money on the rental, anyways he was cruising down the road and his pickup started on fire! So yeah, all this happened within 7 days, now that is some bad luck.

True story! I have pics of his truck all burned up, his car smashed by the deer and his rental smashed by grandma.

I had a rough start: 1 week after purchase, hit and runned leaving a dent and scrapes all down the driver side.

less than 1 week after getting it back : chich in an acura tried to squeeze in between me and a wall at a gas station ( iwas in the car), she ripped my mirror of, stopped, paused, looked at me, and kept going scrapeing the whole pasenger side.

after that it was smooth sailing though (4 months, no accidents yet)
if only someone would back into me so ican get my front bumber repainted...

The only bad luck I have had, was some kid backing into me, no insurance, we were getting some weed at the time (No police), he gave me his number, said his dad died, and he couldnt pay. I finally got it fixed about 3 months later. The day after I got my car out, I had about my girl, my two kids and her very large mom in my car, along with a bunch of their s***. I couldnt see completely where I was backing up, and scratched the f*** out of my bumper. Still isnt fixed 8 or so months later

My girl should pay for a new paint job with all the dings and scratches she puts on my car. Every single day i tell her, back away from the car, because she has a big clanky watch or 18 rings on her fingers, or a big a** belt hangin' off. She should definately help me pay for it. I literally tell her EVERY DAY! and she does not learn. She also smokes a cigarette right next to my door, so all the smoke goes in, like it is better than smoking in my car. HONESTLY WOMAN, THINK ABOUT IT!!
